Adele Swaps into Sneakers amid Torrential Rainstorm at Outdoor Munich Show

Adele sets the rain on fire!

On Wednesday, August 14, the 36-year-old singer performed in front of thousands of fans in Munich, Germany despite a major storm coming through in the middle of her outdoor performance.

In a video shared on X, Adele walked down the stairs while it was raining. Using one hand to hold her long black dress and the other on the microphone, she then moved to the beat as she sang her song “Oh My God”.

In another video, according to Billboard, Adele joked that the rain shouldn’t stop her from singing one of her most famous hits.

“If it stops raining when I do ‘Set Fire to the Rain,’ I’m going to be fucking furious,” she joked.

This is not the first time that Adele had to perform in the rain.

In 2017, the “Turning Tables” singer wore a plastic poncho when it rained during her performance in Auckland, New Zealand.

Adele had to be kicked off the stage several times to wipe her face with a towel, but was later offered a poncho by a fan in the audience.

After opening the package, she placed the item over her head and over her burgundy Zuhair Murad evening dress.

“At least it goes with my dress,” she joked about the light pink poncho.
