Lalit Yadav was born on Friday, January 3, 1997 (24 years old in 2021) in Najafgarh, New Delhi. His zodiac sign is Capricorn. Lalit started playing cricket at a very young age and played his first Under-12 match at Delhi Public School, Dwarka, Delhi. He started practicing for more matches and completed his schooling at the National Open Schooling Academy in 2015. After completing his schooling, he joined the Swami Shradhanand College at Delhi University to pursue his bachelor’s degree.

Profession
After completing his formal education, Lalit Yadav started his cricket career. In November 2017, he made his first-class cricket debut in the Ranji Trophy. In January 2018, Lalit made his debut for the Delhi Cricket Team in the Twenty20 League as a batsman in the 2017-2018 Divisional T20 League. Lalit Yadav participated in the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy in January 2018 and won the tournament with the team. In a local T20 tournament, Lalit Yadav hit six sixes twice in a match. Delhi Capitals recruited Lalit Yadav for Rs 20 lakh to play in the 2020 Indian Premier League. In February 2020, Lalit Yadav was appointed as a Tax Accountant with the Income Tax Department, Government of India.

- Lalit Yadav lived in a farmhouse with Rishabh Pant, Mohit Sharma and Ishant Sharma before leaving for India to play in IPL 2020. They were his teammates in Delhi Capitals and they used to train together in the farmhouse.
