Aishwarya Kailash Mishra is an Indian athlete who competes in the 400 meters event. She was a member of the Indian women’s 4x400m relay team that won the silver medal at the 2022 Asian Games.

Aishwarya Kailash Mishra started her track and field training at the SAI Center in Kandivali under the guidance of her coach Sumit Singh. She participated in many marathons and competitions during her studies at school and college. In September 2021, she participated in the Maharashtra State Championships in Nashik. In March 2022, she clocked 2:06.44 seconds in the 800m race in Patiala. In April 2022, she won three 200m events at the National Federation Cup held in Tanshipalan. In 2022, she achieved a time of 52.62 seconds in the women’s 400m competition at the National Games.
In May 2023, she won the 400m gold medal at the 26th National Federation Cup Senior Athletics Championships in Morabadi, Ranchi. In September 2023, Aishwarya ran a time of 47.90 seconds in the 4 × 400m relay event in Chandigarh. Her best result in the 4 × 400m mixed relay was achieved in July 2023 at the Supacachalasai National Stadium in Bangkok, where her team achieved 3: Personal best of 30.41. On September 29, 2023, she was selected for the Indian track and field team as a reserve athlete for the 2022 Asian Games in Hangzhou, China. Aishwarya was a member of the Indian women’s 4×400m relay team, which included Vithya Ramraj, Subha Venkatesan and Prachi Choudhary, and won a silver medal at the 2022 Asian Games.

Later, she explained that she was not fleeing the authorities but had traveled to Uttar Pradesh for personal reasons. Her personal trainer Sumit Singh later revealed that she traveled to Jaunpur, Uttar Pradesh, to care for her ailing grandmother. She also said her family didn’t know where she was at the time.

I was a district-level kabaddi player and when Aishwarya showed interest in sports, I pushed her into athletics. Over the years, we have sold a small piece of land in Uttar Pradesh. I sold my room in Mira Road, mortgaged my wife’s mangalsutra and took out loans from friends to ensure that Aishwarya’s training or my other two children’s studies would not be affected. She made India and Maharashtra proud. I’m happy about it. ”
