Facts/Trivia
- Tina Sani said in an interview why she became a singer:
When I started making music, it wasn’t to become a singer. It was just because I loved music, because my father loved music, and luckily, there was a great classical Ustad Nizamuddin Khan Sahab around. It was just that I had a great voice and everyone would tell my dad that I should study classical music. My dad loves classical music and I’m my dad’s pet. I would do anything to please him. But when Ustad came over, I had no idea what the etiquette was for learning music. Only then did I understand why my father or anyone who listened to classical music would nod in approval. It all sounds the same to me. I pretty much grew up listening to Western music. I’m a huge admirer of Barbra Streisand. “
