Alekhya Harika is an Indian actress and YouTube star who works primarily in the Telugu film industry. She is best known for the comedy web series Dhethadi. She was one of the contestants on the reality show Bigg Boss Telugu 4.

Profession
Alekya started her acting career in 2018 with the short film Viva. She then acted in Tamada Media’s web series Chitram Vichitram. Next, she played the lead role in a web series on YouTube channel Dhethadi. The series was a huge success and earned Alekya popularity. She then appeared in the YouTube video Frustrated Telangana Pilla, which has been viewed over 1.8 million times.
In 2019, Alekhya acted in the Tamil film Adithya Varma. In 2020, she participated in the game reality show Bigg Boss Telugu 4 as a contestant.

- Harika’s entry into the YouTube video industry was accidental. She shared in an interview that she was hanging out with her friends when one of them suggested that she try her luck with a short film. Following her friend’s advice, Alekhya auditioned for a short film and was chosen to play a role in a web series on the YouTube channel ‘Dethadi’.

The director said, ‘Turn on the camera, and I stood there looking at the people opposite me. When they said this, I didn’t know what to do.’ I was stunned when the filming started. Thanks to my mother’s support and encouragement, I have become the star I am today.”
