All About Lando Norris' Parents, Adam Norris and Cisca Wauman

Lando Norris’ biggest supporters are his parents, Adam Norris and Cisca Wauman.

The couple, who have been together for more than 25 years, also have a son Oliver and daughters Flo and Cisco.

Lando made his Formula One debut in the 2019 Formula One World Championship, according to his website. At 24, Lando became the youngest British Formula 1 driver in history after spending the 2018 season as a Test & Reserve driver for McLaren. He dominated the 2020 and 2021 seasons with a record number of podiums. Lando then took his first career win at the Formula 1 Crypto.com Grand Prix in Miami in May 2024.

Although Adam and Cisca weren’t there to celebrate their son’s triumph in person, they said the moment was an emotional turning point for the entire family.

β€œIt was amazing. I think you saw 110 [races]and I’ve lost count of the 900 races I’ve been to in the last 16 years. It’s been a while, but it’s here. We got there,” Adam told Sky Sports after Lando’s big win. β€œPeople don’t realize that there are as many bad days as there are good days. It’s been five years and you think, ‘OK, that’s it. There are too many, too many weekends away from home, away from family.’ But it makes it all worth it.”

β€œI want to give you a huge thank you for all the times you’ve dealt with me and for all the help and support you gave me when I was a little boy to make me the person I am today. Also, for supporting me in the work I do, for spending so much time away from you, my sisters and everyone else, and for making me the man I am today. I think I’m a good guy. “There are many things that my dad gave me, or, I would say, invested in me. But it is an investment, not a default. I have to return that investment and reward him and use what he gave me to show that everything was useful and not a waste of time,” he said on High performance podcast in 2024

β€œOne thing my mom and dad did really well was keep me grounded,” Lando continued. “[They help me] live as normal a life as possible [and] do not get carried away in any way.”
