Altaf Raja is an Indian Qawwali singer who became popular in the 1990s with the song “Tum To Thehre Pardesi”, which sold approximately 7 million cassettes in a single day. The song also set a Guinness World Record for the largest record sales at the time.

Altaf Raja was born on Sunday, October 15, 1967, in Nagpur (age 55; as of 2023). His zodiac sign is Libra. He attended Antonio De Souza High School in Mumbai. He furthered his studies at Bombay University. Altaf was born into a musical family and began receiving musical training at the age of 18. He was so inspired by his father’s music that he decided to become a singer himself. He wanted to sing qawwalis rather than become a playback singer, but his mother advised him to take advantage of any opportunities he got at the time.

    I am currently working on the second part of Tum To Thehre Pardesi. With at least four to five songs, the album will be released before Diwali. These songs are very beautiful and I believe people in big cities will like them. “
