Amy Robach and T.J. Holmes Promise They'll Be 'Serving Tea' on New Podcast 1 Week Before Its Debut

The podcast will launch on December 5 — the same day that broadcast journalists are “temporarily” removed from ‘GMA 3: What You Need to Know’ 2022.

Amy Robach and TJ Holmes have a lot in store for their highly anticipated iHeartRadio podcast, Amy & TJ.

In a joint post shared on Instagram a week before their audio debut, the former GMA 3: What you need to know co-hosts have hinted that they will be dropping some major bombs on their upcoming podcast. “Why yes, we 𝘸ซีแล are serving tea… One week from today, ‘Amy & TJ’,” the pair captioned a photo of themselves in a candid moment while filming the new episode, a cup of tea placed on the table in front of them. “Listen on the iHeartRadio app and podcasts are heard everywhere. December 5.”

Earlier this month, Robach, 50, and Holmes, 46, announced their return to the airwaves and went public with their relationship in a post they shared on their social media.

“How’s this for instagram official? #silentnomore 🎤”, they wrote alongside a photo of the two smiling and hugging each other. “‘Amy & TJ’ Dec 5. Listen on the iHeartRadio app and podcasts are heard everywhere. @amyandtjpodcast.”

By accident, Amy & TJ will launch on December 5 — the same day that the TV reporters were “temporarily” removed from the daytime television program in 2022 following news of their romance.

ABC News President Kim Goodwin shared the network’s decision with staff that morning. “During a routine editorial call at 9 a.m., Kim Godwin said she wanted to resolve internal and external interference between the two colleagues,” a source told PEOPLE last year.

“This was not a special call and it happens every day, and she took that time to address the staff about the situation,” the source continued. “She said that while this is not a rule violation, she took time to think about it and wanted to do what was best and for now they decided to remove TJ and Amy from the program while they figure things out.”

The two first sparked romance rumors on November 30, 2022, after photos surfaced of them holding hands in a car while vacationing in upstate New York and cozying up at a bar in New York City. At the time, Robach was still married to actor Andrew Shue, while Holmes was married to Marilee Fiebig.

Just a few hours after the photos were published, the journalists immediately shut down their Instagram accounts.

Meanwhile, Robach and Holmes continued to grow closer, and were photographed in public on several occasions. Holmes also settled his divorce from Fiebig, while Robach appears to still be legally married to Shue.

The pair completed the New York City Marathon together in early November after months of training.

Robach and Holmes were seen following the 26.2-mile course through the Big Apple, before crossing the Central Park finish line. After winning their medals, the duo even shared a sweet moment amidst the excitement of their achievement.

While in the park, Holmes grabbed his former co-host by the shoulders as she gently rubbed his face — seemingly trying to wipe something off him. Robach ended up licking her thumb and scrubbing his face one last time as Holmes smiled, then the pair posed for a photo together at the finish line.
