- In 2007, lyricist Sameer, who had collaborated on many popular songs, reunited with composers Anand and Milind after a gap of six years. They have reportedly encountered conflicts in the past, leading them to stop working together. By 2001, they had co-written more than 950 songs. In 2007, they decided to make a Bhojpuri film titled ‘Sajan Sangh Laagi Laganiya Re’. Their differences were resolved at Samir’s book launch, where Samir admitted to their relationship. Milind mentioned in an interview that he contacted Sameer after the release of the new book and suggested that they collaborate again, with the goal of adding 50 more songs to their existing 950 tracks. In the process of creating music for 250 films, they completed 150 projects independently, including providing background music. Milind also explained that their decline in song output after 2000 was partly due to the fact that filmmakers like Harmesh Malhotra and Vimal Kumar, who they were working with, stopped making films.
- Anand said in an interview that during their career they produced about 1,600 songs. Of those, only about seven or eight people were accused of plagiarism. In his explanation, he mentioned that in some cases they were forced by producers and directors to copy specific tunes or melodies that they liked.
