Anthony Michael Hall and Lucia Hall are married again!
On Nov. 11, Anthony, 55, and Lucia, 32, renewed their vows at St. Mary’s Cathedral in Miami three years after tying the knot in a private ceremony on Nov. 7, 2020, on the beach in Miami. Like many couples, the Halls were forced to postpone their dream wedding due to the COVID-19 pandemic, but Anthony promised his wife that one day they would still have a church ceremony planned.
In an essay posted to his Instagram on Monday, Anthony shared his and Lucia’s winding journey down the aisle with their 5-month-old son, Michael Anthony Hall II, by their side.
Back in 2019, the couple set their wedding date for November 11, 2020, but when the pandemic hit, they knew they didn’t want to delay saying “I do,” even if it meant postponing their church wedding for something simpler.

“Like many, when Covid hit, we were forced to change our plan: get married at St. Mary’s Cathedral in Miami on 11/11/20,” Anthony wrote. “Being the romantics that we are, we decided to get married anyway, which we did, in a private civil ceremony on November 7, 2020, on the beach in Miami.”
He continued: “Being a man of my word, I promised Lucia that we would stick to our original plans. We will still be married at St Mary’s Cathedral, sometime in the near future.”

On Nov. 11, Anthony kept his word when he and Lucia renewed their vows “in union with God, in the company of our five-month-old son Michael (wearing a tuxedo like his dad).”
Surrounded by family and friends, the couple finally performed the ceremony they had been dreaming of for the past three years.
After the wedding, the couple and their guests continued the celebration with a “wonderful” reception at the Fontainebleau Hotel. The Halloween kills the actor shared a short video from the reception on his Instagram earlier this month of him, Lucia and their son standing in front of a large wedding cake.

“Happy and so blessed to introduce… my family,” Anthony wrote alongside photos of Lucia and baby Michael. “The Hall family. We’ll live—happily ever after.”

Anthony and Lucia exclusively announced to PEOPLE the arrival of their son in July.

Then the actor spoke about Lucia’s “smooth” pregnancy. “She’s been really amazing with it. She’s very healthy and has great genes, so everything’s been smooth sailing and apart from her being a bit sleep deprived now, it’s been really great,” he said.
“I couldn’t be happier because I always knew, even when I was young, that I wanted to start later,” he continued. “Here I am at 55 and I’m totally committed. I’m excited. My wife and I are really in love with parenting and diving.”
