DU 2023 Admission: According to media reports, the University of Delhi (DU) has stated that they may not be able to start their first year course from August 16, 2023 onwards. The date of the session may be delayed due to the delay of the Joint University Entrance Examination, CUET UG Result 2023. The university says students need time to choose their desired course and university combination before the counseling process begins.

The University of Delhi will publish the list of entries before the consultation begins, which will let students know about their admission opportunities. There is also provision for intermediate entry into the Common Seat Allocation System (CSAS). In order to apply under the sports and extracurricular activities (ECA) quota, probationary sessions will have to be held.

The National Testing Authority (NTA) has not announced any release date for the CUET UG results, but the timeline suggests that the results are expected to be released in the first week of July. This did not happen. The results are now expected in the second week of July. The NTA did not give any reason for the delay in the results, but most candidates felt that the delay occurred because the test date was extended.

A senior university official said, “According to the previous schedule, the results were expected to be available in the first week of July and that’s how things were going. When the CUET exam was taken. was extended, the results were delayed. Two or three counseling sessions already in place will be held before seats are filled. Colleges on campus won’t have much of a problem, but these Other schools need time to fill their seats.”

The university rector said, “It will depend on how soon the results are announced. But if we have to stick to the schedule, then with 70-80% of enrollments completed, we’ll move on. Usually, students with athletic quotas and ECA join a little later.”

Admissions officers said they were stressed about the delay. “If the results are announced this Friday, we can stick to the schedule,” the official said.
