Archana was born on October 6, 1989 in Pune, Maharashtra, India. She has been interested in acting and dancing since she was a child. During her school days and college, she participated in many stage performances. She has also participated in many dance competitions. She was very clear about her acting career since she was a teenager and soon joined the entertainment industry. She works in Malayalam, Tamil and Hindi. Her participation in Bigg Boss Malayalam made her famous.

She started her acting career in 2007 with the Tamil film Tholaipesi. After that, she received many offers from Malayalam TV series and films. Archana then made her acting debut in the Malayalam TV series Punar Janmam and in the Malayalam film Kaaryasthan (2010). She is famous for her negative roles. She has also appeared in some music videos such as Kanakuyilukal, Hey Lovely, etc.
In 2014, Archana started running her own fashion store in Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala. In 2017, she was among the top four finalists in the stunt reality show “Dare The Fear.”
