Ariana Madix’s VPR Costar Fears Her Prolonged Bitterness Toward Sandoval ‘Will Eat You Alive’

Ariana Madix draws a line in the sand when it comes to Tom Sandoval.

On Tuesday in the episode Vanderpump Rulesthe Dancing with the stars The alum, 38, made it clear he has no forgiveness for the Schwartz & Sandy co-owner, 41, following his affair with Rachel “Raquel” Leviss.

“My attitude hasn’t changed that he doesn’t have any access to my life through me or mutual friends,” Lala Kent said. “I don’t like his presence. You know, I can quietly remove myself from situations where I’m uncomfortable.”

She added, “I’m not the kind of person to come to with the Sandoval sympathy train.”

Scheana Shay is struggling with cutting Tom Sandoval, especially after he gave her ‘several thousand’ dollars

After Scheana Shay appeared to open the door for Sandoval last week, Ariana worried that she would lose her spot in the group of friends if Sandoval was accepted back, explaining, “I mean, I’m trying to be compassionate. But I also know that Scheana gets run over very easily.”

“He knows that Scheana is the easiest way to try to get people back in his corner,” she added. “And he knows that if he can get Scheana to come to her senses, LaLa to come to her senses, James [Kennedy] and then Ally [Lewber]then he can kick me out of the friend group.”

Over drinks with the girls, Scheana reiterated that she was grieving the loss of her friendship with Sandoval, saying, “Finally, five months later, I’m going through the real grieving process. Ariana has already mourned this loss. He’s making millions of dollars and living his best fucking life. I’m not there.”

After hearing Scheana’s side, Katie Maloney became upset and said she had “no sympathy” for Sandoval, adding in the confessional: “I wish Scheana would just wake up, f*ck, look at the situation for what it really is. Sandoval never really cared about your friendship. Cut ties, move on, be Ariana’s good friend.”

Katie went on to explain that her take on Sandoval was about more than just his affair, telling Scheana, “With all due respect, I just wish you’d get over it. This man has never truly apologized to me since the day I met him… and he was horrible to me. He interfered in my marriage. He made everyone think I was a monster, my own ex-husband, I think. And the fact that anyone has trouble getting over this trash bag of a man is unfathomable because that person is, he’s a demon.”

At the Bachelorette Astrology Night, Ariana opened up about her financial situation before the scandal broke on March 1, 2023, and explained why she didn’t move out of her shared home with Sandoval.

“The internet thinks I’ve made millions of dollars. That is not true,” she explained. “And as if on March 1 I was financially ready to move? Literally a week before all of this happened, I remember emailing my agent and my manager and I said, ‘Guys, let’s start really trying to do something— because I’m not in a good financial situation.

She further explained in the confessional: “When I first started to earn decent money. We decided we wanted to buy a house and then I made up for it until Katie and I found a great location for a sandwich shop. Then a bunch of my money went to it. And now I was at the point where I was literally down to my last $2,000 in March. I’m not kidding. He created this situation and now I’m struggling trying to get my fucking shit together so I can move to the next step in a financially responsible way.”

Later in the conversation, Ariana maintained her position that she will not have mutual friends with her ex. After discussing James’ decision to hang out with Sandoval at the bachelor party, Lala realized that all of their friendships with Ariana were “in jeopardy” if they hung out with Sandoval.

“That’s exactly what I was afraid of. I was trying to talk to Ariana tonight, from Dancing with the stars because of losing Sandoval, but seeing her reaction to James hanging out with Sandoval, I’m just going to sit back and keep my mouth shut,” Scheana admitted in the confessional.

Lala commented that Ariana became “very angry” about James’ decision, and Katie once again came to her defense. Katie and Lala then argued about whether Lala’s opinions stemmed from her situation with ex Randall Emmett.

Lala clarified that she’s worried that Ariana harbors the same kind of resentment she had toward Randall, saying, “Nobody knows what it’s like to deal with an ex more than I do. I’m never going to get rid of that person I had a baby with and that’s why I know that holding a grudge against your ex like Ariana is doing with Sandoval will eat you alive.”

“It’s like drinking poison and expecting it to kill the other person. It doesn’t seem like it. It kills you,” she added. “I don’t wish that on my friend.”
