Arshad Warsi is an Indian actor, producer and singer. He is famous for his role as ‘Circuit’ in the Bollywood film Munnabhai MBBS starring Sanjay Dutt.

Arshad Warsi was born on 19 April 1968 in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India (55 years old as of 2023). He was born and brought up in Mumbai. His surname was actually Khan, but his family chose Warsi as a surname after his father became a follower of the saint Waris Pak. He attended Barnes School and Junior College, a boarding school in Devlali, Nashik district, Maharashtra. At the age of nine, Arshad was chosen from thousands of other children by two British men to train in gymnastics. He is also a national level gymnast. As a student, he was also a member of a motorcycle gang. However, due to the financial crisis, Arshad had to drop out of school after passing tenth standard. He then worked as a cosmetics salesman and also worked in a photography printing shop, assisting Mahesh Bhatt in the films Kaash (1987) and Thikana (1987). Later, he joined Akbar Sami’s dance group and won the Dance India Competition in 1991. He decided to become a choreographer and started his own dance academy under the name “Awesome”.

Arshad Warsi was born into a Muslim family. His father, the late Ahmed Ali Khan, was a musician, singer and poet. He has a stepbrother Anwar Hussain, a singer, and two stepsisters Reshma Sachdev and Asha Sachdev. Asha is an actress. Arshad’s father died of bone cancer when he was 18, and his mother died of kidney failure two years later.

Arshad met Maria Goretti at the Malhar Festival, where he was a judge and Maria was a participant. Profession

As a choreographer, Arshad choreographed the song “Roop Ki Rani” in the film “Roop Ki Rani Choron Ka Raja” (1993) starring Anil Kapoor and Sridevi. He has also choreographed musicals by Alyque Padamsee and Bharat Dabholkar.

Arshad hosted various television shows like “Razzmatazz” (2001), “Karishma – The Miracles of Destiny” (2003-2004), “Sabse Favorite Kaun – Awards Show” (2004) and “Bigg Boss 1” (year 2006).

Arshad made his debut as an actor in the 1996 Bollywood film Tere Mere Sapne, produced by Amitabh Bachchan’s production company ABCL. He went on to star in Betaabi (1997), Mere Do Anmol Ratan (1998), Heroes of Hindustan (1998), Hogi Pyaar Ki Jeet (1999), Trishakti (1999), Ghaath (2001), Mujhe Meri Biwi Se Bachaao (2001) and Jaani Dushman: Ek Anokhi (2002). However, Arshad did not get his breakthrough until 2003, in Sanjay Du He played the role of “Circuit” in the film “Munna Bhai MBBS” starring Sanjay Dutt.
