At least five people, including two security guards, have reportedly been killed in a shooting at a French migrant camp near Dunkirk.
The horrific shooting took place in Loon-Plage before the person who claimed to be the attacker surrendered, according to French media.

Police special forces were first called to the camp on Saturday afternoon following reports of a “lone gunman who was killing people”, an investigation source said.
They identified the self-confessed killer as Paul D., a 22-year-old from Dunkirk who claimed to be a “former colleague” of the dead security guards.
Paul D. is said to have been shooting in an area full of asylum seekers who were sleeping in place.
Four of his victims died around the makeshift camp in Loon-Plage where small boats loaded with migrants headed for the UK from the Channel Beach there.
Another victim, reportedly a transport manager, was killed before the attack.
All those killed were “accurately shot in the head, suggesting that the killer had considerable experience with firearms,” an investigation source said.
The source added: “Four people were shot dead around the camp in Mardyck – two security guards and two migrants.
“The gunman also said he shot the transport manager earlier in the afternoon.”
A source told Sky News that officers had confirmed that “multiple murders had been committed”.
The killer is believed to have first opened fire in Wormhout, some 15 miles inland from Dunkirk.
His car stopped outside the farmhouse, then went inside and killed the 29-year-old public transport manager in front of his family, according to a source in the investigation.
He then drove in his car towards Loon-Plage, where he allegedly shot two Iraqi Kurdish migrants in the head.
Two security guards working for Eamus Cork Security, a company that helps protect the port of Dunkirk, were then killed in the same manner.
They were traveling in their own vehicle, but the alleged killer asked them to get out before he shot them.
The man then drove eight miles to the coastal town of Ghyvelde and handed himself in to police before confessing to all five murders.
Confirming the arrest, a Ghyvelde gendarme spokesman said the man was “not known to the police”, suggesting he had no previous criminal record.
He is now in custody and is understood to be facing charges of murder.
Four weapons were found in Paul D.’s car, and he was the legal owner of a Smith and Wesson 44 Remington rifle, a French police spokesman said.
David Calcoen, mayor of Wormhout, said: ‘I am stunned by what has happened. ‘I can’t understand how this could happen.’
There are frequent reports of gun and knife violence by people smugglers around migrant camps in northern France.
