Madison Prewett on maintaining intimacy for marriage to Grant Troutt: ‘I’m not trying to have a super long engagement!’

Prewett understood that chastity was “much more than abstinence from sex,” she continued. “It is what your eyes see and what your ears hear. That’s how you fill your time, you’re asked to leave sleep early because of the movie that’s showing. He calls your mom to pick you up from a night out with friends that turned into a party. It’s the music you listen to and the words you don’t say.”

She explained that, in her opinion, “God is not trying to withhold anything good from you” while abstaining from sex.

“It’s just the opposite,” Prewett wrote. “Contrary to popular opinion, the pursuit of cleanliness gives more than it takes. God asks these things from you to PROTECT you and your heart.”

I assure you that following God’s way is always in your best interest, He only loves you and wants the best for you and your heart.”
