BBC Radio 1 star Yinka Bokinni has revealed she has given birth to her first child.
The star took to Instagram to confirm she had become a first-time mum just hours before returning to live television.

The birth revelation came just hours before she appeared on Late and Live
Yinka, 35, showed off her blossoming baby bump for the first time on the 2024 Brit Awards red carpet in a surprise reveal as she took over red carpet hosting duties for the evening.
Since then, Yinka has kept quiet and rarely posted on Instagram, but the BBC star has now revealed she’s had a baby in a sweet Instagram post.
She shared a video of herself holding her newborn as she revealed she was having a baby girl.
Yinka wrote online: “Hi we’ve been quiet baby girl is amazing and I’m back at work so hello again x.”
She then referred to herself by her brand new nickname: “Yinkmummy”.
Just hours after announcing the news of her birth, the star appeared live on ITV2’s Big Brother spin-off show Late and Live.
Yinka is a regular on the spin-off and looked stunning in a gray dress for the show with Will Best.
She was joined on the panel by CBB winner David Potts and radio star Remi Burgz.
Following the news of her baby’s birth, Yinka was inundated with comments as one of her followers wrote: “I JUST SCREAMED!!!! I’m so so so so happy for you!”
Another added: “Best mummy ever.”

Yinka first showed off her baby bump in a tight dress earlier this year on the Brit Awards red carpet.
She keeps her personal life private and has never publicly disclosed the details of her relationship.
