Billie Eilish Joined on SNL by Brother Finneas for Performances of 'Birds of a Feather' and 'Wildflower'

Billie Eilish showed fans exactly what she’s made of with an unforgettable performance Saturday night live.

The nine-time Grammy Award winner, 22, appeared as the musical guest on the long-running sketch comedy show on Oct. 19 alongside host Michael Keaton.

For her performances of “Birds of a Feather” and “Wildflower” — both songs from her 2024 album. Hit me hard and soft — the singer had a special guest join her on stage: her brother Finneas.

Her first song on the show, “Birds of a Feather”, saw Eilish and Finneas, 27, perform inside a box structure that had floor-to-ceiling projections of a blue sky with clouds. The singer wore baggy jeans, a jacket and an upside-down baseball cap, while her brother opted for a white polo shirt with blue detailing and gray trousers as he played guitar alongside her.

Keaton introduced both performances, and in the second, “Wildflower,” Finneas reappeared alongside his sister, this time in an all-blue set. Eilish switched up her look, wearing a baggy sweater and oversized shorts, while her brother wore a darker t-shirt and dark pants.

The “Birds of a Feather” singer and her family recently opened up Vogue about Eilisha’s latest tour, which is her first solo tour. While her brother and frequent collaborator Finneas will appear on the occasional date here and there, he is busy promoting and touring for his latest solo album, For Cryin’ Out Loud!which was published on October 4. This time, her parents will also not join her at every fashion show as usual.

Eilish’s mother, Maggie Baird, compared the solo tour to her daughter having a “study year”.

“It’s kind of our ‘going to college year,’ I guess,” Baird said Vogue.

Finneas added: “You want your family to visit you often. You don’t want your family to be, like, the dean of the college or in your dorm room.”

The two musical siblings opened up about their new dynamic – with Finneas taking time out to focus on his own music and Eilish hitting the road without him – during a candid chat on Spotify’s vodcast Countdown to earlier this month. As the duo sat and chatted in the park, Eilish told her brother that it was “sad and hard” not to have him on her tour, but also a relief because she always looked out for him.

“I feel like I spend all my time on tour and in rehearsals like, ‘Oh my God, Finneas wants to leave’ or ‘Finneas is unhappy.’ I just look up to you so much and I want you to have the best time,” Eilish told the “Cleats” singer.
