On September 9, 2022, Kavya Yadav fled her home after a violent argument with her parents. Later, on September 10, 2022, Kavya’s parents Suraj Yadav and Anu Yadav started a live broadcast on Kavya’s YouTube channel titled “Bindass Kavya is missing, please find our daughter”. During the live broadcast, Kavya’s father said:
“We’ve been looking for her since last night.” “If anyone sees her, please let us know.” Please help us, our 16 year old daughter kavya yadav has been missing since 2pm on September 9th. ”
On the same day, Kavya Yadav was reportedly spotted by the government railway police at a railway station in Itharsi. Itarsi is about 321 miles away from Kavya Yadav’s home in Aurangabad, Maharashtra. According to media sources, Italsi Government Railway Police Sub-Inspector Vibhendu Vyanktesh Tandia said Kavya was found in the sleeper compartment of the Kush Nagar Express from Bhusawal on Saturday by the Italsi Government Railway Police. Kavya Yadav later handed her over to her family. Kavya Yadav ran away from home after her father scolded her for poor academic performance. Talking about the same, Kavya Yadav said:
I was so angry that I left the house without my phone. I was going to Lucknow by train. Meanwhile, the police caught me. “

- Initially, Kavya Yadav became popular for making short lip sync and dance videos on the video sharing platform TikTok; however, in 2020, Kavya’s TikTok account was terminated due to some unknown reasons. Kavya Yadav spoke about this in an interview and said:
I uploaded the video to TikTok, and then I called and stayed the night. When I checked my phone around 6am the next morning, my ID had somehow been disabled. I felt so frustrated that a year of hard work had been wiped out overnight. My mother has always supported me in my difficult times. She comforted me and said that we would communicate with the relevant departments of TikTok, but we did not get any reply from them. It was a very difficult time and I was sick for about two weeks, but then I tried to get over it. I made another TikTok ID and moved on.
