Boundaries Are Pushed ‘Too Far’ on ’90 Day: The Last Resort’ as Ed Learns He Was a Leprechaun in a Past Life

Borders are on the big test 90 Day Fiancé: The Last Resort.

On Monday’s episode, Kalani revealed a shocking secret and Ed underwent hypnosis therapy and made a surprising discovery about himself. Meanwhile, Jovi talked Kelly and Asuela into a men’s night, and Yara put her foot down on Angela.

Kalani and Asuelu finished their homework by instructing them to masturbate separately. While Kalani admitted that they seemed to be making progress, she admitted that she still struggles to forgive him for cheating on her and finds it hard not to imagine him with other women.

When he asked Asuela if she was thinking about her pass while masturbating, she said no and insisted that she had no contact with him.

“You are my first priority,” she said. “I’m not doing this for other people. You know, you’re the only one.”

However, it turned out that Kalani’s answer was not entirely true. Later in the episode, she talked to Angela and Yara about the couple’s task and admitted that she had been thinking about a few “home videos” while masturbating – the ones that they weren’t her husband. Although Yara assured her that they were “not judging”, Kalani couldn’t help but feel terrible.

“I feel guilty for lying to Asuel that I was thinking about another guy while I was doing my homework,” she said in a confessional interview. “But when I think about Asuel sexually, it kind of makes me sick. Not because it’s, like, horrible or anything, but because I always think about him cheating on me.”

“After everything that’s happened, I just…have a hard time finding him sexually attractive,” she continued. “I don’t want to make things worse by telling him the truth.”

Ed’s past life regression

Ed spent some time with Petey Silveira, a therapist who specializes in treating trauma through past life regression.

“This process is not for everyone. But in the entry that I did, I was very engaged by Ed and Liz because they are very sensitive people and they are absolutely looking for healing,” Petey explained. “If you can’t see the reason from childhood, often these things are happening in a past life. Until we become aware of why we choose these certain roles we have in life, you can’t change anything.”

Using hypnosis, the therapist put Ed into a deeply relaxed state and “gave instructions.” [his] take the soul [him] back to the life” he had. After he had relaxed enough, she asked him to describe what he had seen. Then he made a startling discovery: he had apparently been a leprechaun in a past life.

They would hang me upside down in metal shoes and I would spin,” he described. “I would entertain people. People would laugh. I was alone. I was a lone performer, and then they threw me in a hole. They dumped me.”

He then referred to the “soul lesson” from it, saying, “I am not loved.”

Petey, who said she had never seen anything like this, encouraged him to think about how the trauma of his past life relates to his present. They came to the conclusion that although he is still dealing with a “physical problem” in the present, things are ultimately better for him in his present life because he has found companionship in his partner Liz.

“I mean, it was scary,” Ed reflected on the experience. “I was made to feel different and inferior, but my humor won me more in life than it hurt me. And now I definitely feel the love. And Liz makes me feel the love.”

The boys entered the strip club

After an intense day of therapy, Jovi convinced Asuela and Kelly that it was time for a men’s night. First they went to the bar and ordered a drink. They talked about their relationship problems. Asuelu was worried about Kalani, but admitted that things between them are “hopeful” again.

Meanwhile, Kelly said that if things don’t work out between him and Molly after two weeks, he’ll have to decide whether or not he wants to stay in Georgia. “If it doesn’t work, I’ll just walk away,” he said.

Jovi got involved and told about his problems. He and his wife Yara were on different sides when it came to intimacy – Yara wanted more romance, while Jovi was more focused on sex. For homework, they were supposed to spend some quality time cuddling, but Jovi said he felt “tempted.”

Then Jovi asked Asuela if he had ever been to a strip club. The Samoan admitted that he did not, explaining that there are none in his culture. Seeing an opportunity to have some fun, Jovi suggested that the three of them get to one.

“I think going to a strip club is essential to learning American culture,” he told the producers. “And I think for someone like Asuel, it would be good to take him to a strip club. I want to, you know, open his eyes.”

With that, the boys headed to the strip club. However, Kelly insisted they had to keep it a secret – or their wives would be furious.

Yara sets a boundary with Angela

Later in the episode, Yara, Angela and Kalani were hanging out at the beach and Yara confronted Angela about her behavior. The night before, a drunken Angela sneaked into Yara’s room and jumped on her bed, then showed her a video of her licking her husband Jovi’s face. The two were lost together in an episode earlier this season.

Angela apologized and admitted she may have gone “too far”, explaining: “When I drink I’m like a kid. I’m bad.”

Yara eventually forgave her, but claimed that she was “protecting” her boundaries. On the other side of the coin, Angela casually said that “there are no limits.”

In a later confessional interview, Yara told producers that she was more angry with Jovi than with Angela – but still thought there had to be “consequences” for her actions.

“To be honest, I’m not really mad at Angela,” she said. “Angela was driving Angela crazy. If Jovi doesn’t want to drink with her at the bar, she won’t show up in my room. I’m mad about Jovi, but I don’t want her to get away with everything he does. There has to be some consequences for her.”
