Brandi Glanville, 51, Tightened Her ‘Mommy Stomach’ Using This Breakthrough Treatment: ‘I Have Actual Abs’ (Exclusive)

Brandi Glanville is feeling more confident than ever after using a breakthrough non-invasive treatment to help tighten and improve the appearance of her “mommy belly,” an area she’s admittedly been insecure about since giving birth to her boys.

Speaking of an experience exclusively with PEOPLE, the The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills alum, 51, described how she tried CellSound technology at the Beverly Hills Rejuvenation Center to get ready for spring.

“I have real abs,” the Traitors star proudly tells PEOPLE after completing six weekly 40-minute sessions. – I have wrinkles on my stomach that I haven’t had since before I got pregnant.

Patented ultrasound technology uses therapeutic sound waves instead of heat or freezing methods, so it does not damage skin cells.

During her first appointment at the medical spa in January, Glanville spoke about how feeling self-conscious about her stomach prompted her to seek improvement in what she says is her biggest problem.

“I think every mother knows that after kids, the elasticity of your skin will never be the same,” says the mom of Mason, 20, and Jake, 16.

Then, during the pandemic, Glanville says she gained extra weight — and when she lost it, “she just had this loose skin,” which made her more determined to do something about it.

“I gained 20 pounds, so I lost it and I was left with a bag of wrinkles,” she says. “And I really love – I have over 200 bikinis. I’m not kidding. I’m just obsessed with them. So I want to feel proud of my age and my body and just be able to sit in a bikini.”

Brandi Glanville opens up about facial disfigurement caused by stress-induced angioedema: ‘Worst year of my life’

Describing what the procedure feels like, Glanville says it’s completely painless. “No pain. I don’t like pain. I feel like I’m working out my abs right now. You work out your abs. It doesn’t hurt, but it almost tires them out.”

After six treatments, which cost about $500 per treatment, or $3,000 total, Glanville says she’s very motivated to maintain a healthier routine to complement her new look.

“When you see that [definition], you say, ‘Okay. I can take it back.’ So it makes you want to get some exercise and take better care of yourself.”

For the first time in years, Glanville feels like she can go out and show off her midsection.

“I mean, to be honest, I haven’t worn a crop top in years and I literally feel comfortable going out in a crop top, which is so bizarre,” she says. “I don’t feel like everyone should be doing it, but I can go to practice in a crop top and not feel like I have my mom’s stomach and I shouldn’t be sitting. So it’s definitely empowered me in that regard.”

“It’s such a small thing to get that definition,” Glanville adds of the treatment, which can also be used on other problem areas.

“We want to help people look and feel their best. So when Brandi came to us and said she was unhappy because she felt she was lacking elasticity in her stomach, we knew exactly what she needed,” says Holtz.

Brandi Glanville denies having facial plastic surgery after hearing ‘mean comments’: ‘I’ve aged’

As for Glanville, the LA native says she doesn’t strive for perfection. “I don’t care if I have that little dog there that I’ll never get rid of—because it reminds me of my babies.”

“I always make them feel guilty. I’m like, I gave up my body for you. At least you could go to lunch with me,” she jokes using that “motherly guilt that we’re all going to use for the rest of our lives.”

The RHBH The alum says her sons, who she shares with ex-husband Eddie Cibrian, are used to her being “very free” with her body. “But I’ve never been one to wear half-shirts in public.”

Until now, that is, when suddenly her kids see her running to Target in a new outfit.

“They know mom dresses like a whore,” she jokes. “And they’re like, ‘You’re so thin, you’re good. You’re fine. You don’t need to exercise.’ And thinness has nothing to do with health. I want to be thin, healthy and strong.”
