Brave Holly Willoughby moves out of £3million family home in bid to put sick kidnap, rape and murder plot behind her

TV presenter Holly Willoughby has put the horror of her kidnapping behind her – moving out of the family’s £3m home which was at the center of a twisted plot.

Removal vans were seen outside the property this week, just two months after security guard Gavin Plumb was jailed for trying to ambush the presenter at the house.

Plumb, who received three life sentences, planned to sedate the mother-of-three and her TV producer husband Dan Baldwin after he jumped the wall and broke in.

Then he wanted to take the star to an abandoned place where she would be killed.

A source said: “The house was central to Plumb’s terrifying scheme. Holly and her family will never feel the same again. She just wants to move on and put this all behind her.”

The movers were seen on Friday at the six-bed house in London, where Holly has lived for more than a decade.

She ended her 14-year stint on ITV’s This Morning after the Plumb plot came to light last year.

Obese Plumb, 37, has developed an obsession with Holly, 43, that has lasted more than a decade.

He had more than 10,000 pictures of her on his phone when he was arrested at his home in Essex after trying to recruit an accomplice to the plot – who turned out to be an undercover US police officer.

It took the police more than six months to review only ten percent of the material on his devices.

He shared Google Earth images of her family home with potential accomplices and spoke of visiting the ITV studios to assess the possibility of her abduction.

Terrified ex Gavin Plumb begged the judge who sentenced him to throw away the key

Plumb amassed a “kidnap kit” of restraints and investigated Holly’s home.

He reportedly told an American undercover police officer he was talking to online: “We’re going to jump over the outer wall, break in, chloroform both her and her husband. Tie them both up with shoelaces and gag them.”

The trial was told he bought 400 metal cable ties as well as bottles of chloroform to knock out the star.

In 2006, at the age of 19, Plumb received a suspended sentence for attempting to kidnap two flight attendants from a train.

Two years later, he took two 16-year-old salesgirls hostage while working as a security guard.

Plumb, from Harlow, Essex, was convicted at Chelmsford Crown Court in July and must serve a minimum of 15 years in prison.

Brave Holly, who previously posted footage of her home on social media, said in a statement read to the court: “As women, we should not feel unsafe in our everyday lives and in our own homes.”
