Spanish police are investigating, but Nathan’s family in Pontypridd, South Wales, have been told he suffered a fatal fall.

His devastated older sister Alannah Hughes said on social media: “He was traveling on his first boys holiday and got lost looking for his hotel and fell.

“Nathan did not want to leave this country, leave his children and our family.

“He would be so gutted, he had so many plans for himself and the children’s future.

“Our hearts are broken and breaking for Nathan and his children.

“Nathan was the best father, son, uncle and certainly the most amazing, wonderful and supportive brother.”

Alannah said her brother’s children Mimi, Romi, Tayo and Tino were “distraught”.

She said: “It’s breaking their heads to think they’ll never see, hear or feel their dad again.

“Nathan’s children were his absolute life and I’m sure anyone who knew him would agree.

“All he ever did was support and love his four children and give them the best life he could with what little he had financially.”

His mother Liz Osman posted on Facebook saying: “Oh Nathan why you XXXXXX?”

More than £15,000 has been raised on a GoFundMe page to bring the mechanical engineer’s body home to South Wales for the funeral.

Baby clothes shop owner Alannah added: “The money raised will go towards getting Nathan home from Benidorm as quickly as possible and any extra raised will be given to his children in honor of what Nathan can’t give.

“He deserves this help more than anyone! As a family we are heartbroken and grateful.”

“I miss him so much already, he didn’t deserve this! My heart has never felt pain like this and I will long for my little brother as long as I live.”

Spanish authorities are continuing their investigation, but are treating the death as a tragic accident.

An inquest will be held in the UK after his body is repatriated.
