Severide is back!
Inside One Chicago’s exclusive first promotion highlighting the new season Chicago Fire, Chicago Med and Chicago police lies the first footage of Taylor Kinney as Kelly Severide since the actor went on hiatus earlier this year.
“I’m here. We’re in this together,” he tells his wife Stella Kidd (Miranda Rae Mayo) before kissing her.
The actor, 42, who played the beloved character of Chicago Fire premiered in 2012, took a leave of absence in January to “deal with a personal matter,” a source close to the production previously confirmed to PEOPLE, though no additional information was shared at the time. In October, PEOPLE confirmed his return for season 12.
