Chrissy Teigen is adding another title to her resume, in addition to TV host and cookbook author: podcast host.
With a wellness theme Self-Conscious with Chrissy Teigen, former model, 38, is making her first foray into podcast hosting, and shares how she hopes her show can help people break the cycle of negative thoughts.
“All we do is negative self-talk all day, and I think it’s just this wonderful hour where we can do something to improve ourselves and learn something,” said Teigen, who shares four children with husband John Legend.
“I honestly really hope that people will learn to give themselves a lot of grace. I think it’s very easy to be very hard on yourself. And it’s easy to think we’re not doing enough. We don’t exercise enough. We don’t meditate enough. Eating well enough. We drink too much.”
“Self-Conscious with Chrissy Teigen” is out January 9 on Audible.

“Through these conversations, I’ve begun to peel back the layers of challenges that interfere with my well-being; I hope that listening to the podcast can do the same for listeners,” she said in a statement.
The weekly podcast launches January 9 on Audible, with Teigen’s first guest, Mel Robbins, The New York Times bestseller author Theory let them go.
“Let people have the space to feel what they need,” Robbins says in PEOPLE’s exclusive preview of the episode. “The meaning of life is to allow yourself to live your life, and you will not experience the full potential of your life if you hold yourself hostage to managing everyone else.”
As for her interviewing skills, Teigen said, “This was all new to me. I’ve never done anything like this before. I’ve never talked like this before, like this one-on-one with someone.”

She revealed that she records the podcast at home, explaining: “Home brings me so much happiness. So much joy. I feel most relaxed at home. Not a single thing was recorded outside of my bedroom. And it just brings a certain ease to it where I’m not nervous and shaky or doubting myself. I feel really satisfied and at peace talking to everyone.”
Self-aware with Chrissy Teigen out January 9 on Audible, and alongside Robbins, Glennon Doyle, Peter Attia, Mel Robbins, Gabby Bernstein and more will perform.
