Chrissy Teigen Opens Up About Busy Mom Life with 4 Kids: 'It’s Chaotic, It’s Crazy'

The ‘Cravings’ author gave an update on her family during an appearance on ‘The Jennifer Hudson Show’ on Monday

Chrissy Teigen has come to grips with being a mom of four! Cravings The cookbook author, 38, opened up about her busy life with her four children while talking about her adorable family on Show Jennifer Hudson on Monday.

“Everyone asks ‘How are the babies?’ And I say: ‘There are a lot of them!’ Like I don’t really know how to answer, it’s just a lot,” Teigen told host Jennifer Hudson. “It’s so good, it’s chaotic, it’s crazy.”

The model and TV personality revealed how surprisingly her two oldest children – Luna Simone, 7, and Miles Theodore, 5 – kept her and husband John Legend on their toes the most with their various extracurricular activities, which include sports, art, piano, figure skating, tennis and scouts.

“There are so many things they do every day and they never get tired,” Teigen explained.

She added that her two youngest children, Esti Maxine, 1, and Wren Alexander, 8 months, “are actually the easy part right now,” as she said the siblings “turn into twins” because they are so close in age.

While Teigen welcomed Esti via C-section in January 2023, she announced that she and Legend, 45, welcomed Wren, who was named People’s Cutest Baby of 2023, via surrogate six months later.

Opening up further about her offspring, Teigen also shared that siblings Miles and Esti are “very close”, while eldest daughter Luna has taken on the role of caretaker in the family.

“Luna is like a mother to us,” she revealed in the show. “I mean, she takes care of me when I’m sick, John. She brings me ice packs if I have a headache and loves being a nurse.”

“She’s giving foot massages for cash now!” Teigen added about the smart 7-year-old, saying her little girl has become “obsessed” with the piggy bank her grandfather recently gave her.

Elsewhere on the show, Teigen made light of her fun experience as a basketball mom to son Miles.

“[It’s] so much fun. They are so small and so not great,” the Chrissy and Dave have dinner out the star joked. “Mostly they carry, I mean no traveling when they’re that young or anything like that. They don’t keep score.”

She continued about her little boy, “He loves to play basketball, he’s crazy about stats,” before revealing her secret skill in the sport. “You can name any basketball player, any football player, and he’ll know all the stats, the score of their last game,” she told Hudson, 42. “In that world, he’s crazy.”
