Chrissy Teigen has new ink — briefly!
The model and cookbook author, 38, attended the ChainFEST LA food festival on Saturday, October 5, and shared in an Instagram video that she came home with a new temporary ‘White Castle’ tattoo on her lower back.
“I went to ChainFEST and I came home with this,” Teigen said in the video after first explaining that she was “only wearing latex,” adding that it was “hard” to stretch in the super-tight outfit, which featured a black bodysuit and naked pencil skirt.
She then turned and showed her back to the camera, pulling up her skirt to reveal her new tattoo – which looked like a helmet with wings and some letters written underneath.

“This is a White Castle tattoo on my lower back,” she told her followers and laughingly revealed that she “found out” that the ink from the hamburger restaurant chain “lasts eight days.”
“I have a White Castle tattoo on my lower back that’s been going on for eight days,” Teigen repeated, shaking her head and adding, “Oh my god.”

In addition to getting her new ink at the food festival — which joins her permanent tattoos, which include an elephant on her wrist and a butterfly designed by daughter Luna — the model posed for photos in her striking outfit on the red carpet at the event and spoke to PEOPLE about your family’s costume plans for the upcoming Halloween holiday.
“We love Halloween,” she told PEOPLE that night. “But now it’s a kid’s Halloween. I actually prefer the kids’ ones because they’re so fun and so cute and they’re during the day and they can still go to bed early and stuff.”

Chrissy Teigen shares fun photos of her family time with kids in Los Angeles: ‘What a week!’
Teigen and her husband John Legend have four children — Luna , 8, Miles Theodore , 6, Esti Maxine , 20 months, and Wren Alexander , 15 months — and the family has a history of super cute family Halloween costumes, but this year might be a little differently, she explained.
“Well, my kids don’t know any family that I want to be like, so I gave them some ideas. They were like, ‘Who’s that?’ – she joked, adding that her son Miles has a concrete idea for his own costume this year.
“My son wants to be like Marshmallow. He’s obsessed with DJ Marshmello, so be it. And I’m like, ‘They’re not into family stuff right now,'” Teigen revealed.
However, she still has her two youngest children, Esti and Wren, to prepare costumes for. Teigen playfully noted that since they’re “babies,” she can “make them do whatever you want.”
