I’M a Celebrity’s latest jungle team is starting to take shape.

A handful of famous faces have been confirmed for the creature-filled ITV reality TV show – but there are many more in the mix.

Here, we take a look at the stars who are definitely wearing their I’m A Celebrity hats – and those who may be putting on their jungle boots.

Ant and Dec will once again lead the series, which returns to our screens in November.

Back in July, The Sun revealed how This Morning presenter Josie, 38, had landed a great deal in the jungle.

An insider told ITV: “Josie is hugely popular with This Morning viewers and the producers were determined to get her.

“She is seen as the perfect person for the jungle as she is already such a familiar face on ITV and will bring her fan base with her.

“She’s incredibly down to earth and people at home seem to like her. Plus, they’re confident Josie will bring laughs to I’m A Celebrity, as she already does on This Morning, and is guaranteed to go down well with most of her jungle friends.”

Bristol-born Josie won Big Brother in 2010 but her TV career seemed to be on hold until she started as a presenter on This Morning in 2019.

In 2021, she became a part-time host, replacing Holly Willoughby at short notice.

And this May, she found herself in the spotlight following the departure of Phillip Schofield.

ALAN HALSALL

Coronation Street’s favorite mechanic Tyrone Dobbs – better known as actor Alan Halsall, 41 – is set to head Down Under.

Alan is hugely popular with ITV viewers after 25 years on the Cobbles.

A source said: “Tyrone is one of Corrie’s favorite characters so Alan comes with a ready-made fan base.

“Sometimes soap actors who are famous for their iconic roles don’t quite translate once in camp – Adam Woodyatt is one recent example.

“But Alan is a top bloke with a lot of personality so ITV are looking forward to him negotiating to join their cast in 2023.”

FRANKIE DETTORI

Retired jockey Frankie, 52, will have plenty of time to fight the bugs after saying goodbye to his illustrious horse racing career.

The sports ace said that he is actually most concerned about maintaining his own appearance – unlike swarms of jungle insects.

A source exclusively revealed to The Sun: “Frankie is excited about the jungle but just worried about who’s going to do his hair while he’s there!”

Frankie — famous for his “flying dismounts” after winning races — is known for keeping up appearances.

Over the years, the tiny Italian has sported a slicked-back part, slicked back hair, a Peaky Blinders-style undercut and even tried out a pale blonde hairstyle.

Former rugby star Kelly Brook, 35, recently published a tell-all book.

Still, with more time on his hands after the release, Danny seems to be gunning for the crown of king of the jungle.

He signed up for I’m A Celebrity and bosses hope he will spill the beans about his relationships with Kelly and former glamor model Katie Price.

He was also linked to Caroline Flack and Kirsty Gallacher before marrying mental health campaigner Victoria Rose in April 2021.

Still, that’s a pretty slimmed-down bunch from the jungle — so let’s take a look at the stars who’ve been chosen for TV’s scariest challenges.

ALEX BERESFORD

The Good Morning Britain meteorologist, 43, has strong tips for a spot in the jungle.

He’s hosted various TV shows apart from breakfast TV – and I’m Famous could be his next.

And Alex further fueled speculation when he described how the spot on the show would be “awesome”.

No doubt he could pick up some tips from GMB co-host Kate Garraway, who is a former Im A Celeb alumni.

DENISE VAN OUTEN

TV favorite Denise, 49, has a slot in her diary to fill after it was revealed her show Steph’s Packed Lunch is being axed.

Denise, who turns 50 next May, also previously told us: “I’ll do it at some point.

Could it be Olivia’s second chance?

The Sun first revealed how the 32-year-old former Love Island student was removed from the camp after a dramatic trip to the emergency room.

An examination revealed that the television star was dangerously anemic.

Back in April, Olivia gave the biggest hint yet that she was getting ready to return to the jungle.
