Demi Lovato is experiencing deja vu.
On August 27, the “Skyscraper” singer (who uses the pronouns she/them) posted a cooking video of herself making Marry Me Chicken for her fiance Jordan “Jutes” Lutes. The food was so Good thing the Jutes decided to ask the question a second time.
“I said yes! 💍 Next up in ✨Cooking with Demi✨ is one of my favorites – Marry Me Chicken. @littlesunnykitchen recipe and a special appearance by @jutesmusic 👀🖤,” Lovato captioned the post.
In the video, she started by introducing chicken from the Little Sunny Kitchen blog as one of her meals.
“Today we are doing Marry Me Chicken! It’s one of my favorite chicken recipes and I think it worked because I’m getting married!” she said, showing off her stunning engagement ring.
Lovato then proceeded to cut three chicken breasts into thin cutlets and season them with salt and pepper.
Everything was going well until she burned the oil and butter she was frying the chicken with. “Oh no! Did I burn it?” she said. Dismissing the minor mishap, she loaded up the ingredients and continued. To add to the recipe, she added garlic, chicken broth, cream, various spices, and sun-dried tomatoes.
When Marry Me’s chicken was done, she handed the plate to a very excited Jutes. After taking a bite, he said, “Honey, this is amazing!”
Dazzled by Lovato’s cooking skills, he took out the ring box and got down on one knee. “Will you marry me?” he asked his fiancée.

As Lovato playfully passed out, the couple ended the video with a kiss. “She said yes!” Jutes joked.

After a “personal and intimate proposal,” Jutes and Lovato celebrated at Craig’s, one of their favorite restaurants in LA, to celebrate with their families.
