Dita Von Teese was “bewitched” by Taylor Swift.
The famous burlesque performer (51) appeared in a new episode of the series Interviews with Allison podcast in which she praised the “I Can See You” musician, 34, while detailing her experiences teaching her routine to co-workers.
“The best experience was Taylor,” said Von Teese, referring to working on the “Bejeweled” music video. “She’s a really, like, kind girl. She knew everything about what I do.”
She noted that Swift really wanted her to showcase her talent.
“She wanted me to not just be behind the scenes teaching her to be, you know, in my glass,” Von Teese recalled. “She wanted to show what I do.”

“Bejeweled”, the second video from Taylor Swift’s album Midnightdebuted in October 2022 and featured a “Cinderella twist” where the singer-songwriter took on the role of the famous fairytale character.
“I want to[ed] to make a video that’s just for fans who like certain things like glitter and Easter eggs and lots of little cameos,” Swift — who also directed the video — said during an appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon that same month.
The music video also featured Oscar winner Laura Dern, who plays Swift’s evil stepmother, sisters Haim, Este, Danielle and Alana, who are equally awesome, and Jack Antonoff as Prince Charming who proposes.
Von Teese, of whom Swift said Fallon is “one of the most famous female performers”, she also appeared in a music video as a “fairy goddess”. The pair teamed up for a sultry burlesque spot, dancing and posing in two oversized martini glasses, squeezable olives and all.
