Donnie Wahlberg Reveals He Took the Reagan’s Dinner Table from Blue Bloods Set: ‘I’m Going to Put It in a Wahlburgers’

When CBS hit the police Blue Bloods finished filming after 14 seasons, actor Donnie Wahlberg wanted a little memento.

“I took my two Danny Reagan costumes — my blue suit and my blue dress,” the 55-year-old actor and singer tells PEOPLE in this week’s issue. “I put them on dummies and put them in Wahlburgers.”

Then he realized that the Reagan family dining table that appears in every episode was also available. “I really had no intention of taking anything from the set until I found out that table and chairs were just sitting in storage somewhere,” he explains.

The actor plans to rotate the table and chairs between Wahlburgers locations, starting with the one in St. Charles, Ill., where he and his wife, Jenny McCarthy, 52, live. “I’ll set it up where fans can sit at a table and take pictures,” he says. “And then I’ll probably draw it for charity for the DEA, the Detective Foundation Association, the Widows and Children’s Fund.”

Wahlberg, who is an executive producer and host of true crime documentaries Very scary peoplehe spoke more with the magazine for One Last Thing:

The last time I cried was two days ago when I woke up and was lying next to Jenny talking about my trip. I felt incredibly grateful and started to cry. She hugged me the tightest. It was a sweet moment.

One last moment of nostalgia. When I finish touring with New Kids on the Block, I’m starting to miss my fans and trying to figure out what we’re going to do next. It never gets old.

Last time I faced the fear of being a nervous flyer. If the weather isn’t perfect, I won’t book. My mother told me the best way to calm down was a Bloody Mary. So I usually have three.

The last perfect day off Saturday Jenny and I lay in bed until 2pm and then went shopping. She needed something so I just kept her company. I thought I might get an award when I got home, but we watched Substance instead. [Laughs] It was fun.
