Drew and Jonathan Scott bring holiday cheer to America’s most famous house.
PEOPLE can exclusively reveal a clip from the upcoming HGTV special, Christmas at the White House 2023in which it is Property Brothers stars, both 45, help decorate the White House for the holidays.
“Welcome to the White House,” exclaims one of the twins at the start of the clip, as scenes of trees, lights and other holiday decorations flash across the screen.
As Drew practices perfecting his best ballerina moves, he then asks Jonathan to identify some of the reindeer props they pass, to which he hilariously quips, “It’s Drew, it’s Jonathan. We’ve updated things.”
Then, as one of the twins notes that they only have “72 hours to transform the White House,” various volunteers are seen hard at work, putting together displays, hanging lights, and creating the magic of Christmas.

Jill Biden receives a ‘magnificent’ White House Christmas tree along with military families
Drew jokingly asks Jonathan if they’re sure they don’t need 3,000 volunteers instead of the 300 they have, to which he replies, “We might, actually, because we’re a little behind.”
Jonathan then announces that the theme of this year’s holiday display at the White House is “magic, wonder and joy” and notes that the goal of the decorations is to “transport people back to that Christmas morning feeling.”
“The scale of everything is huge, and even as adults, it feels like Christmas morning,” he continues, while Drew adds, “It’s like that whimsy and so much fun [feeling] from when we were children during the holidays. I can feel it already.”
Jonathan also notes that the decorating team wants to “make sure each room has something different” to make each one stand out.
