Gisele Bündchen Reveals the Tool She Uses to Manage ‘Incredible’ Home Renovation Project

Gisele Bündchen may be a supermodel, yoga master, nature lover and jiu jitsu purple belt, but she’s only human when it comes to a very common aggravation – home renovations.

When asked about her upcoming projects during the intimate IWC Schaffhausen event for Art Basel Miami on Friday, Bündchen revealed that one in particular is testing her a bit.

“I’m in construction! It’s amazing — building in Miami takes a lot of patience,” she said.

As the group burst into laughter, Bündchen added, “I can tell by the reaction, I’m not the only one.”

The supermodel, who just detailed her 20-year meditation practice, then explained how she’s dealing with the current challenge.

“I’ve been practicing all these years of meditation — it’s very helpful, I’m not going to lie,” she said.

Bündchen owns multiple homes in Miami, including a new one on a horse farm and a Miami Beach estate with her ex Tom Brady.

Fortunately, her meditative approach seems to be working. “I have to tell you, having a moment to let go, to breathe, to just feed yourself first, I think that’s enough. For me, when I don’t do that, I feel a big difference,” she revealed.

Enjoying life’s moments is the main priority for the mother of two children, the brand ambassador of the legendary Swiss watch manufacturer.

“Time management is the most important thing because time is the most valuable thing we have — the most valuable currency we have,” she tells PEOPLE.

And when it comes to managing her homes, kids, self-care and more, the supermodel reveals she uses one special method to keep track of it all.

“I actually have a color-coordinated calendar,” she says.

“Each of my children has a color, work has a color, my personal activities have a color. Because this way I can see — if I have all the colors every day, that means I’m spending time doing all the things that are important to me.

Even with the frustration of construction, Bundchen remains overjoyed living in the Sunshine State. Ultimately, she says, her key to staying “cool as a cucumber” is “moving, doing yoga, walking the dog, getting some fresh air.”

The supermodel also said she has competition for her IWC Schaffhausen watches, and that comes from her daughter Vivian, 11, who Bündchen explains has her eye on the Ingenieur Automatic 40, which costs $11,700.

“It’s beautiful, it’s kind of sporty, and I’m very sporty. But, it’s versatile,” she explained of the watch, adding that although Vivian isn’t allowed to borrow the accessory “yet,” “trust me, she takes I look at the watch, like , ‘Mom, I like that, will you give it to me, will you save it for me?’ ”
