Dwayne Johnson Sings Moana Song for a 4-Year-Old Girl in Home Hospice Care: 'It's My Honor'

Dwayne Johnson made a special video for the main Moana cooling fan.

On July 1, the 52-year-old actor shared a video on Instagram in which he said the Make-a-Wish Foundation reached out to him with an urgent request to send a message to 4-year-old Lily Guerrero, who Johnson said is currently in care at home hospice.

“The ‘rush’ wish means what the implication sounds like, which is that time is simply not on our side when it comes to this particular wish,” Johnson said in the video.

“This urgent wish is that Lily is now in home hospice and watching Moana every day, all day, her dad said. She wants Dwayne Johnson to sing ‘You’re Welcome’ to her and record it so she can listen to it over and over and over and over.”

“Of course mom and dad asked me to share this wish on social media to share Lily’s spirit and strength and her flaw, and of course we’re taking that energy and sending it back to Lily,” he added, noting that the youngsters were told Moana fan is “super excited about this,” even as she spends time on a feeding tube.

After sharing some facts about Lily, Johnson played the instrumental of his popular song from the 2016 animated film. Moana‘You’re Welcome’, which he sings as his character Maui, and broke into the melody.
