The EASTENDERS legend is returning to Albert Square 31 years after his debut – and it’s bad news for killer Reiss Colwell.

Viewers watched Bianca flee Walford in June after she confronted sister Sonia Fowler’s boyfriend Reiss about his strange behaviour.

She exposed Sonia and Reiss’ theft of the comatose Debbie’s savings to pay for their IVF in front of their horrified friends and neighbors in the Vic.

But since she’s been gone, he’s killed his comatose wife and gone off the deep end.

Bianca was hiding her dark secret – that she was struggling with depression, but she confided in Kat.

Sonia has since forgiven Bianca after Kat Slater intervened to update her on Bianca’s recent struggles, but the pair have not seen or spoken to each other since.

But Bianca will not be alone upon her return.

Albert Square is about to get a lot busier in the coming months as Bianca Jackson returns to Walford once again, but unbeknownst to her, dad David Wicks is also hot on her trail.

Bianca and David last saw each other ten years ago before he went to live in America following the breakdown of his relationship with Bianca’s mother, Carol Jackson.

And while the father-daughter duo undoubtedly love each other, their relationship has always been complicated.

EastEnders fans are slamming the soap for ruining the iconic character with bizarre outbursts

Actor Michael French is reprising his role after a ten-year hiatus.

The actor – who last played David in 2014 – has signed up to make a shock return for cameos later this year.

He said: “I feel honored to be asked to play David Wicks again.

“It may only be a short visit, but we know from his past that David never fails to create a lot of drama in a very short time.”

Chris Clenshaw, executive producer of EastEnders, added: “David Wicks is undoubtedly one of EastEnders’ best-loved rogues, and we’re delighted to welcome the talented Michael French to the iconic role as we approach the show’s 40th anniversary.

Killer Reiss could be a rare mistake for EastEnders

The Sun’s Soaps editor Carl Greenwood fears EastEnders’ murderous twist could be a huge mistake…

SOAPS always work best when there’s a rampaging killer on the loose – and now EastEnders is putting that theory to the test.

When you think of legendary soap opera serial killers – those who enjoy it always go down in history.

Corrie’s Richard Hillman and Pat Phelan and Emmerdale’s delicious Meena Jutla – murder never seemed to be their business.

Viewers love watching people enjoy themselves – even if their favorite past time involves going through their neighbors like a knife through butter.

The least favorite killers are the guilt-ridden killers who go through the killing spree wishing they hadn’t. It is boring and the viewer is not comfortable.

I’m afraid Reiss Colwell’s creepy drop might be the latter. Especially if the soap falls into the trap of only killing off insignificant characters like Debbie.

So if he kills again – and we don’t know if he will – please, please let him enjoy it.

Otherwise, we have a bumpy road to the 40th when we promise so much.

“David’s character has never shied away from drama during his previous tenures, and I can assure you that this return will be no different.”

The soap also recently announced the return of Tracy-Ann Oberman as iconic villain Chrissie Watts.
