Erin Andrews Talks Helping Set Up Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce, Hopes to ‘Officiate the Wedding’

The NFL broadcaster, 45, opened up on Late Night with Seth Meyers about her role in helping Travis Kelce, 34, and Taylor Swift, 33, hook up — which happened after she proposed the idea of ​​them dating her Take it easy with Erin and Charissa podcast.

“Travis was very open about not meeting her. And so we were just really honest because we love him. We’re good friends of his and we were just like, ‘Taylor, date this guy. I mean, it looks good,’ Andrews told Seth Meyers.

“He’s just such a great, great guy. And so we put it out there and they teamed up. Of course, now we get all the credit,” she added.

On an episode of their podcast in August, Andrews and Charissa Thompson asked Swift to “please try our friend Travis. Kelce even thanked them in an October tweet for whatever role they played in making the match. In response to the clip on Instagram, the 33-year-old wrote on Sunday: “😂😂 You two are something else!! 🙌🏻🙌🏻 I owe you a lot!!”

“We’re hoping to officiate the wedding,” Andrews teased Meyers. “We hope to be there when he proposes, all of that.”

She also discussed the effect of Swift wearing one of her Kansas City Chiefs-designed jackets, which the “Anti-Hero” singer wore to one of Kelce’s games a few weeks ago.
