Evan Ross celebrates his legendary mother Diana Ross on her 80th birthday!
As the “Endless Love” singer reached her milestone on Tuesday, her son, 35, expressed how much he loves her, noting how she showed him the “power of love.”
The songwriter shared a tribute to his mother on Instagram, including several throwback pictures of him as a toddler next to his superstar mother.
One photo included the glamorous singer looking chic as she carried young Evan in her arms – while he was wearing a mini suit.
Another picture shows Diana smiling off-camera, holding the child on her hip. In the sweet shot, Evan was wearing bright red suspenders with a bow tie and was looking at the table next to him and his mother.
The latest photo in Evan’s carousel includes a recent photo of The Supremes star making a kissy face for the camera.
“Happy birthday MOM. There are no words to explain how much I love you. You are everything. Everything everything. Everything 🖤🖤🖤🖤. Thank you for showing me the power of love,” he wrote in the description.

Diana shares Evan and Arne Naess with ex-husband Arne Naess Jr.; the two were born in 1988 and 1987, respectively.
She had her first child, Rhonda Ross Kendrick, with Berry Gordy in 1971. The following year, she and her first husband, Robert Ellis Silberstein, had Tracee Ellis Ross. The daughter of Ross and Silberstein, Chudney Ross, was born in 1974.

“Awesome mom 🎉. Happy birthday to my mom @dianaross ⭐️ . To the best mom/grandma/human! Grace, beauty, inspiration and pure love! We love you so much and are so lucky to have you,” Chudney, 48, wrote in a post on Instagram.
Her eldest child, Rhonda, 52, shared a video of herself singing the original song alongside the Grammy winner on stage. “Happy Birthday Mom!!! I love you more than words can say. #DianaRoss #CountOnMe,” Rhonda wrote.

In the meantime, Black-like the actress, 51, wrote a heartfelt tribute on Instagram. “Oh how I love you mom. 80 amazing pictures of you in 80 seconds to celebrate your 80th birthday today ♥️,” she wrote.
Tracee went on to share a list of all her mother’s achievements and noted how “amazing” it was to see how much Diana accomplished from 1976 to 1985 when she gave birth to her daughters.

Tracee then applauded her mother for always loving her children throughout her life.
“What’s not available on Google is that she also woke us up for school (she’s the best wake-up call), organized family dinner and bath time, filmed while we slept, planned birthday parties, play dates, made doctor’s appointments, dealt with fights between brothers and sisters… you know, all mom’s stuff,” she wrote. “Amidst breaking records, shattering glass ceilings and setting new standards for style and glamour, we, her children, were always her priority,” American fiction the star continued. “As I often say, ‘Diana Ross,’ a beloved global icon, is legendary, but she doesn’t hold a candle to my mom.”
