IF you’re not cross-eyed already, you might be by the time you finish this challenge.
Everyone can see the branch – that’s the easy part, but it gets worse in this puzzle.

Your task is to spot the camouflaged creepy crawler in less than ten seconds.
If you succeed, you have 20/20 vision and impressive visual acuity.
But this guy is hard to find, which makes your mission even more difficult and infuriating.
So, take a deep breath, set a timer, and start looking for the hidden bug.
However, we can give you your first clue. We can reveal to you that you are looking for a gnophos caterpillar, otherwise known as an inchworm.
Eventually it will magically turn into a moth, but right now it’s still a caterpillar.
She spent the winter feeding on vegetation in preparation for wings.
In July, August or September, they will appear in the form of moths and fly away.
Nature has done a great job camouflaging this creature as it is almost impossible to see.
It protects it from hungry wild animals further up the food chain that like to munch on bugs.
The environment is harsh, just one branch with several twigs sticking out of the body.
It is early in the season and very few leaves are visible to the naked eye.
Everyone sees the hats on the octopus – but if you can find a tricky fish in 10 seconds, you might have a high IQ
But this caterpillar is somewhere in the frame hiding in plain sight.
It’s incredibly hard to spot and could leave you scratching your head in sheer anger.
You might want a clue before you throw in the towel in frustration.
Advantages of brain teasers and optical illusions
Researchers have developed many tests to show how different regions of the brain respond to brain teasers and optical illusions. There are many advantages.
- They are not only entertaining, but shed light on how our brain interprets visual data.
- By regularly exercising your brain, you improve your ability to focus and observe details.
- Studies have shown that people who regularly face optical illusions and puzzles see great improvements in their problem-solving skills, concentration and attention.
- Improved concentration and attention span can prevent cognitive decline in old age.
- Optical illusions can improve vision by allowing you to see fine print.
Focus your attention on the branch on the right, pointing down.
Can you see it yet? Congratulations if you beat the clock and found the caterpillar.

In this game, everyone can see melting ice, but you have 20/20 vision and a high IQ if you can spot a sneaking leopard in ten seconds.
They are notoriously difficult to find in the wild, but photographer Dafna Ben-nun captured this image while hiking in the Himalayas in India.
Their ability to blend into a plain background is remarkable.
If you’ve had a hard time spotting wild creatures, here’s a clue.
Look out for two leopards next to each other.
If you’re still struggling, focus on the area to the right of the snow surface.
