Farmer Brandon was the first of four prospects to decide on decision day. Before he could do so, he had a heart-to-heart with his father, seeking guidance on an important choice.
“It’s a big, big commitment. You have to consider that this is someone you want to be best friends with,” his father said, noting that Brandon “has to be completely honest” with himself. “This decision will be from your heart and I have 100 percent confidence that you will make the right decision. And no matter who you choose, I will love them dearly.”
In a separate meeting with Grace and Emerson, Brandon took his father’s advice and followed his heart, choosing Grace over Emerson. He told Emerson, who joined halfway through the competition, that he “couldn’t connect very deeply emotionally” with her despite both being farmers.
Although Brandon was hesitant to choose Grace because her life was so deeply rooted in the big city, he still believed there were “a lot of positives” in moving forward with her.
“I really feel like we’ve made a really good emotional connection,” he continued. I’d love to see where that emotional connection takes us.
Agreeing with Brandon, Grace said she didn’t “want to lose him” and was “excited to see where the next step takes us.”

When Farmer Mitchell took over, he had to choose between his “two, great, beautiful wives”, Kait and Sydney.
In his first conversation with Kait, Mitchell noted that some of his “fondest memories” during this experience were of her. He also believed that Kait had “so many qualities” that he would want in a woman. However, the farmer still did not think that she was the right partner for him.
“Kait, it’s been a real pleasure, but unfortunately, I’m feeling the struggle in that relationship and I feel like I have a stronger connection with someone else,” he said. “I want you to know that I am very grateful. It’s been an emotional roller coaster for me and it’s hard to say goodbye. I wish you the best.”
Admitting that she wished she had handled the process differently in the beginning, Kait still felt like a “better person” after meeting Mitchell and was grateful to him.
In Mitchell’s conversation with Sydney, it was obvious that she was The One he was looking for. The pair even held hands as they spoke, allowing Sydney to feel “calmer”.
“There aren’t many things that make this heart of mine, I guess, pouring out and being vulnerable, being all romantic,” Mitchell admitted to Sydney. “But I feel that way with you.”
Sharing a similar sentiment, Sydney said, “I’ve never, like, felt feelings for someone like you do, actually. Very scary! You know, maybe this is it. This is what I’ve been looking for my whole life.”
“Sydney, I think it’s so special to think about a future with you and it makes me so happy to think about all the things that can come from this beautiful relationship we have,” he said. “I want you to join me in this life full of adventure, and farming is just the beginning!
Saying yes to his offer, the two embraced in an emotional kiss before he picked her up and carried her away.

Farmer Ty came to Melody and Megan as decision time approached. However, Ty made a shocking choice: he broke up with both ladies.
Beginning with Melody, he noted that there was “such an attraction” from the beginning and “so many good things we shared.” He also praised Melody’s “impressive” ability to “jump in first and do anything” around the farm. Still, he was hesitant to move forward.
“After the family visits and your experience in New York, there were a lot of questions, concerns about being part of the city. Would you be able to commit 100 percent to being here?” He said. “I want someone who just wants to live and be in this place and who falls completely in love with him. For us to move forward, I shouldn’t have any worries.”
Ty added, “I don’t think I should go forward. It’s hard to do, but it’s the right thing to do.”
Melody admitted that she “didn’t expect it all,” but noted that it was “okay” because they were “from completely different worlds.” She then told the cameras that she was “sad” because “things didn’t turn out” the way she had hoped.
Ty later tells Megan that while the bond they’ve formed is “strong” and “different than any other bond” he’s formed on the farm, he still believes what they’ve built is a “friendship”. Ty, who is already a father, also expressed his desire not to have any more children, which would spoil Megan’s plans as she wants to be a mom one day. (He would later retract his confessional “friendship” statement.)
“Through this, part of me comes to think that I was open to children. But for me, to be honest, through this I learned that I’m not 100 percent there. For me, because I know that I don’t If I don’t want to have children, I don’t think I should be in a position to stop you from having them,” he said. “Also, it’s something with this bond that we have, and to me it’s such a strong bond that it’s a friendship bond. I’m just not 100 percent on board with you being my person forever.”
These revelations ended up “confounding” Megan, but she was “proud” of how she opened up to the process. She then wished Ty the best for the future, even though she was in tears over his decision and felt like she was “not good enough” to receive love.
“I knew none of them were my forever person,” Ty said on camera at the time. “And I had to be honest with myself.”

Farmer Nathan was the last to choose between his two wives, Ally and Taylor.
In his first conversation with Allye, he praised her for helping him “open up and express himself” better. He then gushed that Allye is “fantastic” with his family, also noting that there were “late sparks” on their last solo date. Although he could “imagine” himself with Ally in the future, Nathan still had his “concerns”.
“Both you and I were very slow. I’ve seen bits and pieces of all of Ally and then there’s times when I’ve had a bit of a reserve because I’ve only seen it in small bits of time,” he explained. “This time I’ve had with you has been fantastic and I wouldn’t trade it for anything, but I think I’ll have to go in a different direction.”
Allye said it was “hard to say goodbye” especially because she “came into this with a lot of walls built” and he helped her “tear down all those walls” and showed her “what I deserve.” She then wished him the best, saying he deserved “the whole world”.
As Taylor approached him during the decision, Nathan – who was admittedly nervous that Taylor didn’t say yes – said he was “automatically attracted” to her from their first meeting. He then praised her for her ability to navigate the farm, adding that she was the one he had been “looking for practically all his life.”
“The main thing I was worried about was whether you were going to move to Florida,” he continued. “I want to go this way with you and I don’t expect you to budge now, but I’m crazy about you.”
Taylor said at the time, “I feel like you’re everything I’ve been looking for in life. You’re like my best friend now and I feel like that’s someone worth making sacrifices for and just taking that leap of faith with.”
After telling Taylor he was “falling in love” with her, Nathan asked her to join him on the farm. Taylor accepted his offer and told him that she was also falling in love with him. The two then kissed.
