The couple got married on June 11, 2023, after dating Indian actor Faizan Ansari for a few months. They follow Muslim wedding rituals.

She started her career as a model. She was approached by a television personality, Shahryar Khan, to collaborate on a modeling project for “Monte Carlo”. She has modeled for various brands including Philips Arena, Chevrolet Cruze, Dreamstone Jewelry and Palak sarees. She has shot more than 70 commercials. She appeared on Sahara Channel 1 as an anchor. In 2010, she appeared in Zee TV’s drama series “Behenein”.

In 2011, she served as a VJ on the MTV show “True Life”. In 2012, she was crowned Miss Bikini Asia through an online competition. In 2015, she anchored the 2015 Cricket World Cup for the news channel. She has appeared in several Hindi, Telugu and Tamil films, including “Daal Mein Kuch Kaala Hai” (2012), “Luckhnowi Ishq” (2015) and “Peigal Jaakkirathai” (2016).

- In July 2012, she caused controversy when she was photographed wearing a bikini with an Indian flag tied around her waist. She violated the norms mentioned in the Prevention of Insult to National Honor Act 1971.
- In 2017, she made controversial comments about Bigg Boss 11 contestants Arshi Khan and Priyank Sharma.
- On February 7, 2021, the Mumbai Police Crime Branch Property Cell arrested her for uploading adult videos on the website. According to a senior officer of Mumbai Police, the actress has been doing this practice for a long time and runs a website where she has uploaded over 87 such videos.
- After Raj Kundra was arrested by Mumbai police on July 19, 2021, in a pornography-related case, Gehana, who was out on bail in the same case, issued a statement which read as follows:
The law will take its course. We have full confidence in Mumbai Police but they should not mix pornographic content with pornographic or bold content. We have always said that Mumbai Police is the best force in the world. The court will ultimately decide during the trial who is the real criminal and which of the arrested defendants were simply used by others. ”

- On November 24, 2019, she suffered a cardiac arrest while filming a web series. She worked non-stop for 48 hours and had irregular meals. After being on a ventilator for 2-3 days, she began to recover. She was admitted to Raksha Multi-Speciality Hospital in Mumbai.
