George and Amal Clooney brought sparkle to the Venice Film Festival.
The award-winning actor, 63, and human rights lawyer, 46, returned to the event on Sunday, September 1, for the premiere of George’s new film Wolves — and, of course, they did it in style.
For the premiere, George looked dapper in a classic black suit. He paired the perfectly tailored number with a matching black bow tie and formal shoes, plus his signature salt and pepper hair.
Amal, meanwhile, made an elegant statement in one of the summer’s most talked about colors: butter yellow. The lawyer took a page out of How to lose a guy in 10 days style book with her floor-length dress in a light shade.

However, unlike rom-com heroine Kate Hudson, Amal’s dress featured bodice cutouts, a cascading ruffled skirt and lots of lace.
She added sparkle to the intricate dress with earrings poking out from behind her jet black locks and a sparkling box.

The couple posed on the red carpet with George’s Wolves costar Brad Pitt — with whom he also starred in the film Ocean’s trilogy, Burn after reading and Confessions of a Dangerous Mind — as well as Pitt’s girlfriend, Ines de Ramon.
The foursome’s red carpet appearance comes after they enjoyed a double dinner on Saturday, August 31, at Venetian restaurant Ristorante Da Ivo, which George and Amal make a must-stop whenever they travel to the city.
Like his co-star, Pitt, 60, kept things simple Wolves premiere carpet with black suit. However, his custom Louis Vuitton look was all black and featured flared pants. Let’s spice things up a bit, the Moneyball the actor also layered the suit over a mesh undershirt.

His girlfriend opted for the complete opposite look, providing a stark contrast to Pitt’s dark ensemble with a floor-length white dress. She paired the body-hugging one-shoulder dress, like Amal, with sparkling earrings and brown locks falling down her shoulders.

The Clooneys have plenty to celebrate in Venice besides George’s latest film project.
On September 27, the parents-of-two will celebrate their 10th wedding anniversary following their 2014 wedding in the Italian city, where Amal walked down the aisle in a classic French lace Oscar de la Renta gown.
The festival also marked many significant milestones for the couple.

In 2017, their performance at Suburb the premiere was their first at a public event since welcoming their twins, Alexander and Ella, who are now 7. Amal celebrated the occasion in a lilac Versace dress, while George wore a traditional black Armani tuxedo.
In August 2023, the couple attended fashion designer Diane von Furstenberg’s annual DVF Awards, where Amal, who wore a romantic blush pink dress to the event, was honored with the DVF Leadership Award.
