“I’m thrilled that the writers are still able to show us completely new sides of each character, and that’s what you’re going to see in season three,” she said.
“You’re going to see a lot of tenacity and hustle, but in a whole new way. Georgia has to dig deeper into a part of herself that we haven’t seen before,” she added. “So she has to use that courage in all new ways.”

Viewers saw the second season Ginny & Georgia end with a major challenge when Georgia is arrested for murdering Cynthia Fuller’s (Sabrina Grdevich) husband at her wedding. As the police arrest her and take her away, her new husband Paul (Scott Porter) and children — Ginny and Austin (Diesel La Torraca) — look on in horror.

“The way we planned the first season and the way we ended our pitch for the second season was, ‘Then Georgia marries Paul, they have their first dance, and she’s arrested for murder,'” she revealed at the time. “So that was always the plan.”
As for what’s to come in the series, Lampert teased that “all the dominoes were set back in season one.”
Seasons 1-2 of Ginny & Georgia now streaming on Netflix.
