Guggu Gill started his acting career in the 1980s and rose to fame in the Punjabi film industry in the 1990s. He made his debut in a small fight scene in the blockbuster film Putt Jattan De (1983). Gugu Gill has starred in several Punjabi films, including Jatt Jeona Morh (1991), Anakh Jattan Di (1990), Badla Jatti Da (1991), Mera Pind (2008), “Dildariyaan” (2015) and “Oye Makhna” (2022).
