Gwen Stefani Busts Out Her 'Spiderwebs' Vivienne Westwood Corset After Nearly 30 Years For New Music Video!

Gwen Stefani can still rock her classic ’90s pieces — no doubt about it!

In her upcoming music video for “Somebody Else’s,” which premiered on HSN on Tuesday, Nov. 11, the “Don’t Speak” singer, 55, dusted off a T-shirt she’s had in her closet for a long time — since early the No Doubt days, to be exact.

In the teaser clip for the song, the singer pulled out A tragic kingdoma Vivienne Westwood gem from the era she rocked during some of No Doubt’s most iconic moments and styled it with a modern Stefani twist.

The white corset — which the rocker first wore almost three decades ago in the video for “Spiderwebs” and her Late Night with David Letterman “Just a Girl” rendition — has a large rose detail, making it the perfect vintage piece to keep her floral look, Bouquet-inspired style range goes.

For her 1996 “Spiderwebs” look, the No Doubt frontwoman styled a structured top in a quintessential ’90s Stefani ensemble, teaming it with tartan pants, a chunky belt and—of course—dark lips.

She also opted for tartan to ditch her exes in “Somebody Else’s” (a song about a past relationship the singer is glad she ran away from), wearing a yellow blazer that, along with her blonde locks, evokes another ’90s style icon: Cher from Clless.

She paired the top with another one of her wardrobe staples from the decade and early 2000s: Adidas sweatpants.

For glam, the “Hella Good” singer opted for the opposite of her No Doubt-era makeup (thin brows and bold red lips), instead opting for a classic modern Stefani look: flashy glam with a glossy, light pink highlight.

Stefani, who has worn Vivienne Westwood pieces in other key career moments like her “What You Waiting For?” music video, is a longtime fan of the late designer.

However, when Stefani first bought the “Spiderwebs” corset, she had no idea who Westwood was. She stumbled upon the floral top while shopping at Melrose Trading Post in Los Angeles, she revealed in a 2013 interview. Vogue.

“I think the funniest story is that ‘Just a Girl’ came out and we were supposed to be doing our next video for ‘Spiderwebs’. I didn’t have a stylist or make-up artist,” she recalled. “It’s nothing. It was just, you were left alone.”

“So I said, ‘Oh, I really want to wear plaid punk pants.’ I was really excited about it. So I went to Melrose to try and find this store that had all these amazing corsets,” she told the magazine. “They were all lined up on the wall works of art. I thought, ‘Oh my God, that’s my dream if I could get one of those.’ ”

So Stefani saved up her money and bought it for $800 — a large sum for her at the time, she admitted. “But I thought I didn’t care. That’s my video. It’s my only chance, can we get it?” she said Vogueadding that she had “no idea” the corset was a Vivienne Westwood piece when she grabbed it.

“I didn’t even know who she was,” the singer continued. “She attracted me without even knowing the history. And I was just so lucky that I ended up meeting Vivienne Westwood and having her make me a dress.”

Stefani added: “I feel so connected to it and I feel like when I wear it, it fits me so well and that’s all I love.”

“Somebody Else’s” is the fifth single from Stefani’s new album, Bouquetreleased on Friday, 15.11.
