Gymnast Suni Lee Shows Off Her Olympic Medal Trading Cards: 'So Freaking Cute'

Suni Lee’s Olympic achievements are celebrated in the coolest way!

The 21-year-old gymnastics star — who took home one gold and two bronze medals at the Paris Summer Olympics — showed off some epic trading cards featuring illustrations of herself and her medals.

Lee posted a picture of the congratulations on her Instagram Stories on Friday, Aug. 30, and wrote, “I can’t be so freaking cute.”

In the illustrations, Lee is wearing her Team USA gymnastics leotard and her medals while smiling and enjoying a bowl of noodles. The text on the cards reads: “I was craving pho.”

The Eiffel Tower is drawn in the background of both trading cards, showing Paris as the location of Lee’s successful performance.

Lee took home bronze medals on bars and in the all-around final in Paris, as well as a gold medal in the team final alongside Simone Biles, Jade Carey, Jordan Chiles and Hezly Rivera on July 30.

It is Lee’s second gold medal win in Paris. During the 2021 Tokyo Games, she won gold in the women’s individual all-around, becoming the first woman of Asian descent to win the title.

The Olympian — completely sidelined by chronic kidney disease just a year before — said the Paris Games were her chance for a “redemption tour,” during an interview with PEOPLE at the Games.

“This was my redemption tour from the last Olympics and I was trying to give myself grace for not being, I guess, completely back to normal Sun,” Lee told PEOPLE at the Team USA House on Aug. 5, after the balance beam final.

“But since I got sick, I feel like Suni is normal – she’s just a different girl now,” Lee added, describing the updated version of herself as “more mature” and “more fun.”

Reflecting, Lee told PEOPLE, “I think everything means a lot more because I didn’t think I’d be here.”

“And the very realization that I managed to overcome everything and that I never gave up, was probably the most special moment, I guess for me, in winning all those medals.”
