Niall Horan arrived arm in arm with his girlfriend Amelia Woolley.
It is believed to be the first time Zayn Malik has been seen with his former bandmates since One Direction split.
Liam was buried just over a month after he died aged just 31.
Dozens of locals and fans also gathered in front of the church to pay their last respects.
The funeral of the singer of the group One Direction was held in the home counties.
The funeral was private and only his family and closest friends attended.
The service was followed by a vigil.
It was snowing in front of the 12th century church where the funeral was to be held.
A tent was set up for the arrival of guests.
A flower gift in the form of cones is placed next to the entrance.
Autumn flower displays, composed of red and orange leaves and white roses, are placed around the church door.
Florists were also seen unloading dozens of bunches of white flowers from vans shortly after 9am.
A source said: “Liam’s funeral is being held in the home counties.
“His family worked really hard to put together the perfect service and give him the send-off he deserves.
“Liam may have been a global superstar, but to Geoff and Karen he will always be their little boy.
“It’s going to be an incredibly difficult day.”
Heartbroken mourners gather to say goodbye to Liam Payne
By Rachel Dale
SNOW fell in the morning as devastated mourners gathered to say goodbye to 31-year-old Liam Payne, who tragically died last month leaving behind his seven-year-old son.
Stunning autumn flowers were carefully placed around the entrance to the Grade I listed stone church where around 100 close friends and family were invited to pay tribute to the One Direction star and celebrate his life.
The streets fell silent as the white horse-drawn hearse traveled through the quaint market town of Amersham, Bucks, towards St Mary’s Church.
Locals who lined the streets to pay their respects took off their hats and bowed their heads as the funeral procession passed with the words “Son” written in red roses and “Dad” written in white and blue floral tributes next to Liam’s navy blue coffin.
The hearse pulled up outside the church shortly after 1.15pm and the sun shone as his coffin was lifted into the church by four pallbearers.
His devastated parents comforted each other as they walked behind them, sending their son off on his final journey.
Under blue skies, One Direction bandmates Liam, Niall, Zayne and Harry tragically reunited for the first time in public since their 2015 split.
They gathered at the church for a short and somber 45-minute service – a devastating farewell that will mark the last time all five band members will be under the same roof again.
Cheryl led the mourners out of the service holding a white handkerchief in her black leather gloves.
And his devastated girlfriend Kate hid her crying face behind dark glasses.
Liam’s loved ones huddled together outside the 13th-century church about five minutes into the service. They are looking for comfort against the cold weather, but also united in their grief.
Cheryl, 41, shares son Bear, 7, with Liam and talks about the grief she feels for her son after his father’s death.
She was a judge on The X Factor when Wolverhampton-born Liam shot to fame as a teenager – and the pair later started dating in 2016.
They welcomed Bear in 2017, and the next day they broke up.
In a brief statement following his death, Liam’s family said: “We are heartbroken.
“Liam will live forever in our hearts and we will remember him for his kind, funny and brave soul.”
Liam died on October 16 after falling from a third floor balcony in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
He was in the country to renew his US visa after moving to Florida with his girlfriend, American influencer Kate Cassidy.
During his trip, he attended Niall Horan’s sold-out concert at the Movistar Arena.
After news broke of his son’s death, Liam’s brave father Geoff traveled to South America to help authorities bring his son back to the UK.
Liam gained international fame in 2010 when he auditioned as a solo artist for Simon Cowell’s X Factor.
Then the judges put him in One Direction.
Despite only coming third in the show, One Direction became the biggest British group after the Beatles.
During their five years together, they sold 70 million records and recorded four UK No. 1 singles and four UK No. 1 albums.
Speaking in 2022, Liam said he hoped he would only be remembered as a “good guy” rather than his musical accolades.
Liam said: “Honestly, I’m just being a nice guy. I’d rather be known for being a nice guy than anything else.”
