News of Gay’s and Garcia’s lawsuits broke earlier this month.

According to Salt Lake Tribunein a lawsuit filed by Beauty Lab + Laser — which Gay co-owns — Garcia is accused of refusing to pay for a series of cosmetic injections she began receiving in December 2019.

According to the lawsuit, the newspaper reported, Garcia agreed to pay $2,449 for the treatments, but has only paid $449 so far.

Beauty Lab + Laser sued on August 14 for the remaining payment. Less than a month later, Garcia filed a counterclaim claiming she owes nothing because she “reached an oral agreement” to go “to a competent party to repair the damage to Monica’s nose and lips caused by the incompetent, negligent actions of Beauty Lab staff.” Garcia is also seeking damages of less than $50,000, according to the lawsuit. Salt Lake Tribune reported.
