Hoda Kotb may have said goodbye to Today show, but that doesn’t mean she isn’t still friends with Jenna Bush Hager and Savannah Guthrie.
On Wednesday, January 22, Kotb (60) shared a photo on Instagram of herself and her former colleagues smiling from ear to ear while having lunch together.
“I love Wednesdays!! @savannahguthrie @jennabhager. Also remember when you had that big going away party and now I’m like… HIIIIIIIIIIIII!”, she captioned the post.

Guthrie, 53, shared Kotba’s post on her Instagram Stories, writing “reunion.” When Bush Hager, 43, shared it, she added, “I love these pieces.”
The meeting comes less than two weeks after Kotb left Today on Friday, January 10, after 17 years on the air. She announced her plans to leave the NBC morning show in September 2024.
Kotb co-anchored Today’with 7 am and 8 am alongside Guthrie since 2018. Craig Melvin took over her role on Monday, January 13. She also led TodayThe fourth hour at 10 a.m. since 2007. Bush Hager joined her in 2019, following the departure of Kathia Lee Gifford.

In October, Kotb revealed her decision to retire to PEOPLE Todayexplaining that she wants to spend more time with her daughters Haley Joy and Hope Catherine, whom she shares with ex-fiancé Joel Schiffman and adopted in 2017 and 2019, respectively.
“I knew I wanted this decade to be different,” she said. I looked at my time like pie. I asked myself: ‘This is the time I have, and now what am I going to do with it and how am I going to share it?’ And I wanted it to be filled with more them.”
The broadcaster hasn’t completely walked away from NBC, however, as she shared with PEOPLE that she plans to be a part of the network in some capacity that is still “formulating.”

“It’s going to include some special events, a podcast and maybe the Olympics, things like that. It’s going to be like that kind of stuff,” Kotb said.

“So it’s going to be specials and all that stuff. And I think every month or so I’m going to come back to Today to show and do a little something in this space, which I think will be fun,” she added.
Kotb also plans to launch a wellness app and organize vacations.
