A MAN was arrested for kidnapping a two-year-old child from a stroller.
Police were called to TK Maxx in Bromley High Street after a suspect grabbed a child in front of their mother.

Police said the child was returned to the mother and the suspect was taken into custody.
The Metropolitan Police said in a statement: “On 28 August 2024, police were called to TK Maxx, Bromley where the suspect picked up a two-year-old child from a pram, telling the child’s mother that he was going to take the child. The child was recovered.
“The suspect was arrested for kidnapping and taken into custody.”
The investigation is still ongoing.
The popular discount store is located on a busy high street in Bromley town centre.
