RuPaul’s Secret Celebrity Drag Race Season 2 premiered on Friday, with nine celebrities taking the stage. However, before the first episode ended, award-winning American actress Loretta Devine was eliminated from Season 2 of the hit show. The second season of the VH1 reality series began with a new structure that kept the celebrities’ identities hidden until their eliminations were complete. At the end of the program, the winner of “America’s Next Celeb Drag Superstar” will receive $100,000 for a charity of their choice.
Loretta Devine, aka Fabulosity, scurried off, her voice announcing her presence even before she stepped onto the platform. Devine has a net worth of $10 million and has played a variety of roles in theater and television.

Loretta’s fortune grew as a result of her 30-year acting career. She acted in over 50 films and television series. She is best known for her performances as Lorrell Robinson in the original Broadway production of Dreamgirls, Gloria Matthews in Waiting to Exhale and Adele Webber in Grey’s Anatomy. Madea’s Big Happy Family, Grandma’s House and Jumping the Broom are just some of her other films that left a deep impression on audiences.
Born in Houston, Loretta graduated from the University of Houston with a BA in Speech and Drama. She then earned a Master of Fine Arts in Drama from Brandeis University in 1976. In 2001, the Emmy winner married Glenn Marshall. They have no children. The actress was previously married to Lamar Tyler in 1973, according to reports in 2018, but Devine denied the allegations, tweeting in August 2018:

Grey’s Anatomy’s Loretta Devine appeared as Fabulosity on the second season of RuPaul’s Secret Celebrity Drag Race. She was the penultimate actress in the first episode. The actress commented on her role, Fabulosity:
“I’ve had a fascinating career. I never imagined myself in a drag competition, but I’m at an age where I can do whatever I want! What do you think? It’s fresh and exciting, and I can’t wait to see how great I look!”
The actress chose the nickname Fabulosity because she wanted to “be playful and a little funny.” She stated:
“Phenomenally, she is the missing piece among all the magnificent divas of the world.” That’s what makes her so amazing. I’m just waiting to see if I can do it. This will surprise everyone. She is fantastic. She is amazing.”
The judges gave her performance of Mary J. Blige’s “Just Fine” mixed marks, asking her to believe in herself more. According to Judge Kressley:
“Some of the moves and dancing may have been a little shaky, but remember you have the best support staff in the whole drag world working with you.”
